The Softball Australia Cup, featuring women's softball world No. 1 Japan, No. 11 Australia and No. 23 New Zealand, will be live streamed worldwide, with Kayo Sports securing broadcast rights in Australia and GameTime streaming the tournament globally (excluding Australia) via its YouTube channel. The tournament serves as a crucial preparation platform for the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup 2026/2027 and the softball competition at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The 2026 Softball Australia Cup will open with a round-robin, delivering three international games per day from Thursday 29 January to Sunday 1 February, culminating in a final to determine the series champion at 7.30pm AEDT.
