Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of resource management/scheduling experience at a public accounting firm
  • 3+ years leading a team in resource management, recruiting, talent or operational field
Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of the Private Client Services Resource Management team, including mentoring, coaching, performance and year-end review
  • Building and maintaining high performing strategically focused, and positive oriented culture
  • Critical contributor to success of the deployment function
  • Lead the bi-annual and annual deployment process for responsible niches and continuously identify and implement areas of improvement for these processes
  • Provide strategic support to the Resource Management Director
  • Ability to recommend strategies to optimize Resource Management organization for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Understand and leverage deployment tool to monitor forecasted hours and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to foster relationships at all levels across the Tax business to become an influencer and partner
  • Champion the charge for the continuation of the global deployment process
  • Understand tax tasks, associated deadlines, and skills necessary to make sound deployment decisions
  • Identify areas in the deployment process for efficiency and improvements by utilizing automation and process improvements
  • Create and implement standardized process for staffing updates within niche groups and ensure its implementation
  • Work with Tax Leaders on high level conflicts
  • Oversea Resource Managers to ensure they are proactively building out schedules for new hires and managing off-boarding and backfill of work and notification process to appropriate client partners
  • Partners with other Senior level Talent professionals to support the business
  • Ability to run, review, analyze and synthesize deployment data for tax niche leadership to assist in identifying capacity, headcount needs, etc.
  • Leverage time entry and billable hours reports to identify deployment trends
  • Prepare various deployment reports and presentations for Senior Leadership
  • Become familiar with all firm policies to advise and execute Alternative Work Arrangements, Personal Leave of Absence, etc.
