Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience developing and leading highly skilled technical and analytical, geographically disbursed teams
  • 2+ years of experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of program management, imagery analysis, imagery tasking, and serving geographically disbursed end-user accounts
  • 2+ years of experience using data mining techniques to develop, manipulate, and maintain databases
  • 2+ years of experience creating visual aids, graphs, and charts, editing, and proofreading documents for publishing
  • 2+ years of experience in two or more of the following: Imagery Analysis, digital cartography, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Cartographic and Geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or digital data formats
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree and 11+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, data cataloging, database management, and analytic support, or 20+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, data cataloging, database management, and analytic support in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
  • Lead a geographically-dispersed team of GEOINT Research Analysts to maintain an order of battle knowledge management system
  • Identify and develop sources of information and customer relationships to increase the quantity and quality of information available in the database to GEOINT analysts
  • Leverage knowledge of data formats, cataloging, and search to enable discovery and use of data by users and other automated systems
  • Analyze and improve processes to modernize and service-enable data to meet emerging tradecraft requirements
  • Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to extract or access geospatial information, derivative information and multi-intelligence data to provide requirements, currency, accuracy, readiness, responsiveness, data integrity, and relevancy recommendations that support the analysis and visualization of geospatial data available for use by the military, intelligence, and policy-making communities
  • Adapts existing software applications, tools and data to meet new requirements
  • Perform research, contribute to the preparation of analytical and technical reports and publications, prepare graphics, and maintain hard and soft copy files, including target folders, film files, collateral files, and other publications
  • Create and maintain databases, summary data, spreadsheets, graphic documents, and Intelink web sites
Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with two or more of the following Geospatial Information Systems tools: ArcView, ArcGIS, Remote View, ArcIMS, ERDAS Imagine, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Fireworks, Photoshop, HTML, and FrameMaker
  • 2+ years of experience interacting with and providing technical support to senior leaders such as General/Flag Officer, SES, or corporate equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience with research techniques and tools and locating desired data in Open Source databases or other searchable data locations
  • 1+ years of experience with DoD’s Geospatial policies such as International Policy, Co-Production, and dissemination of data
