Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of experience in Information Security and/or IT is required.
  • Comprehensive experience configuring and leveraging Single Sign-On and step-up authentication to support authorization, including federation services.
  • Ability to lead, document, and meet project deadlines from milestones to tasks and identify ownership with implementation knowledge and expectations.
  • Ability to interpret and translate technical or complex concepts into information meaningful to Identity and Access Management team members and business personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks.
  • Ability to provide security integration, automation, and configuration efforts with security oversight for software in the BCBST environment.
  • Ability to determine technical security baselines and ensure they meet BCBST policies and standards.
  • Understanding of troubleshooting approaches, including underlying security tools, networking, server, application, and cloud environments.
  • Experience with Windows scripting and automation methodologies, including PowerShell, VBScript, Perl, and batch programming.
  • Understanding of APIs, databases, and file connections for application connections.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, configure, and coordinate across multiple applications and systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment while sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability.
Responsibilities
  • Engineer and implement security technology solutions centered on Identity and Access Management security.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and promptly resolve high-priority issues outside normal business hours.
  • Implement, integrate, configure, and monitor Identity and Access Management solutions to maintain system health and proper Single Sign-On, multi-factor authentication, provisioning, and deprovisioning.
  • Reduce system-related errors while ensuring compliance with corporate security standards and policies.
  • Provide input into access-control design and implementation, application credentials, Attribute-Based Access Control and Role-Based Access Control roles, user access policy management, privileged access management, user entitlements, workflow, and rule centralization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as environments change.
  • Develop scripting, automation, and orchestration to improve Identity and Access Management efficiency.
  • Partner with security and risk teams to implement and maintain security policies and configurations in accordance with corporate requirements and guidelines.
  • Assist with development and management of the password vault solution.
  • Ensure accounts are properly identified and configured in the centralized repository, the actual application or system, and the Identity and Access Management solution, with appropriate ownership across all three systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Saviynt and Identity Governance and Administration principles.
  • Expertise building API-based integrations for user lifecycle management and onboarding systems and applications using System for Cross-domain Identity Management, REST APIs, flat files, Java Database Connectivity, Active Directory, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol.
  • Experience with identity federation using Security Assertion Markup Language, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with cloud Identity and Access Management platforms including Microsoft Entra ID, Amazon Web Services Identity and Access Management, and Google Cloud Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience with Entra, Okta, or Ping.
  • Strong SQL query development skills and working knowledge of JSON and XML.
  • Experience configuring certifications, access controls, role-based models, segregation-of-duties rules, and birthright access.
  • Experience using automation or artificial intelligence to optimize identity workflows.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, or SANS certification.
