Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing industrial controls and programming PLCs from scratch.
  • Proficiency in designing power distribution systems and implementing drive and motor applications.
  • Strong understanding of modular machine design principles and ladder logic programming.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation platforms such as B&R, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, GE, and/or Siemens.
  • Familiarity with UL/CE or CSA compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop industrial control systems and PLC programs from scratch, focusing on custom solutions tailored to specific manufacturing needs.
  • Maintain and edit existing PLC programs as needed to optimize performance and meet evolving requirements.
  • Design power distribution systems and implement drive and motor applications to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
  • Utilize modular machine design principles and concepts, with proficiency in ladder logic programming as a bonus.
  • Ensure compliance with UL/CE or CSA standards throughout the design and implementation process.
