Requirements
  • Two to four years of experience working with Workday HCM configuration, integrations, security, calculated fields, and reporting.
  • Sound understanding and experience of Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, Document Transformation, and BIRT.
  • Expertise in data transformation languages including XSLT and XTT/ETV.
  • Solid understanding and experience of Workday SOAP and REST web service directories and related security domains, preferably in HCM domains.
  • Familiarity with XML and JSON.
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to develop and communicate technical ideas and solutions to non-technical end users on HR systems-related questions, tasks, projects, and reports.
  • Strong research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • An independent, curious, and proactive approach.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Workday business process configuration, report creation, security assignments, and integration development and issue resolution across Global HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, and Talent.
  • Design, configure, test, and implement Workday and HRIS system integrations, security, custom reports, and business processes with support from the Tier 3 service provider.
  • Design and build integrations between Workday and multiple internal and external systems using Workday’s Web Services API and integration tools, including Enterprise Interface Builders, Document Transformation, Studio, and Cloud Connectors.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy business processes, custom reports, and integrations in alignment with evolving business needs and automation opportunities.
  • Maintain active integrations and provide support for stakeholder service requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, conduct testing, and ensure successful release and user adoption while adhering to project schedules.
  • Recommend improvement opportunities and continuously innovate across the Workday platform and other HRIS systems.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources personnel to evaluate HRIS software and hardware.
  • Work with the Payroll Team to coordinate retrieval and reporting of complex data.
  • Serve as an HR department liaison to the Management Information Systems and Information Technology function.
  • Maintain a systems orientation, collaborate with peers to set technology priorities, and conduct long-term planning.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for process owners by helping ensure data integrity and testing system changes, writing reports, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.

Americans cut alcohol, dining out to afford summer holidays despite rising costs

Priceline's 2026 State of Summer Travel Report reveals Americans are cutting back on nearly everything to fund summer holidays despite rising costs. The survey of 2,500 US adults found 79% plan to take at least one trip this summer, even though 44% say such a vacation feels out of reach. Eighty-four percent of Americans report paying more and getting less for travel, whilst 55% find it less affordable than last year. Over one-third have already cut everyday expenses to fund trips, with 83% of adults willing to give up alcohol before vacation. Parents and millennials face the most pressure, with 28% of millennials planning to spend $5,000 or more this summer. Sixty-nine percent regret past cost-cutting decisions, whilst half plan to use AI tools to find better deals.

Priceline's Penny AI assistant goes fully agentic, booking trips in one conversation with Anthropic's Claude

Priceline has launched an enhanced version of Penny, its AI travel assistant, now powered by Anthropic's Claude. The agentic system allows travellers to move from trip planning to booking within a single conversation, handling complex requests like comparing flights across multiple destinations. The experience features an interactive map that updates during conversations, along with personalised recommendations called Penny's Pick and Penny's Take. Built on Priceline's proprietary AI stack, the system integrates Claude for conversational reasoning, whilst Google Cloud and OpenAI support search and voice capabilities. Penny connects to real-time inventory from thousands of partners across over 100 countries. Early testing shows travellers using Penny demonstrate higher conversion rates and save approximately ten minutes per trip compared to those calling customer support. The service now supports multiple languages.
