Requirements
  • Pursuing your MS or PHD in EE/CS/EECS or related technical field.
  • Completed courses in Computer Architecture and Computer Graphics is preferred.
  • Meaningful experience in chip performance modelling, real-time 3D rendering or ray tracing, and knowledge of DirectX or OpenGL preferred.
  • Strong programming ability in C and C++.
  • Python scripting.
  • Proven background in mathematics, algorithms and data structures required, additional background in Compute Graphics preferred.
  • A great teammate; ambitious with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Working with other world-class architects on analysis, validation, and tuning of graphics architectures and features that advance the state of art in performance and efficiency.
  • Developing and enhancing innovative tools for architectural performance analysis.
  • Performance analysis of graphics hardware features and APIs, leading to recommendations for future architectures.
  • Deriving algorithms for tuning of games on existing hardware, possible prototyping of implementations.
