Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • At least 5 years of Human Resources Business Partner or comparable business-facing Human Capital experience.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and leadership teams in complex organizational environments and leading or supporting significant change initiatives.
  • Professional services experience.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted advisor relationships.
  • Experience utilizing people analytics and workforce data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience handling complex employee relations matters and sensitive people issues.
  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and partnering across multiple functions.
  • Strategic thinking, strong commercial and business acumen, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Change management and organizational effectiveness capabilities.
  • Data literacy and comfort interpreting workforce analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Human Capital partner to the leadership teams of the Property & Casualty and Life practices.
  • Advise senior leaders and translate business strategy into people priorities and actionable plans aligned with firm-wide Human Capital strategy.
  • Contribute a strategic Human Capital perspective to practice leadership discussions and business decisions.
  • Build relationships and credibility across the organization and influence leaders through data, business understanding, Human Resources expertise, judgment, and trust.
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate organizational challenges and develop solutions supporting business objectives.
  • Lead and support complex organizational and people-related change initiatives, including change-management, stakeholder-engagement, and communications plans.
  • Help leaders navigate transformation while maintaining colleague engagement, productivity, and culture.
  • Identify organizational risks and opportunities associated with business change and recommend practical solutions with the Director of Human Capital.
  • Support workforce planning, leadership development, and people and culture initiatives.
  • Coach and advise leaders on people management, leadership, team effectiveness, talent decisions, and organizational dynamics.
  • Identify capability and skill gaps and work with Talent Development and Recruiting to develop targeted solutions.
  • Facilitate talent reviews and create succession plans for critical roles in partnership with Talent Development.
  • Use workforce analytics, dashboards, and talent data to identify trends, inform decisions, and develop recommendations.
  • Partner with Recruiting to align hiring plans with business priorities and future talent needs.
  • Partner with Talent Development to deliver effective mid-year and year-end performance-management processes.
  • Coach leaders through performance-related decisions involving high-performing and underperforming colleagues.
  • Partner with Employee Relations and specialist teams on complex performance matters.
  • Analyze engagement survey and pulse survey feedback to identify themes and opportunities.
  • Monitor engagement trends, retention risks, and organizational health indicators.
  • Facilitate action planning with business leaders to improve colleague experience, belonging, and retention.
  • Partner with Employee Relations specialists on sensitive colleague matters and investigations.
  • Coach leaders through complex people situations while ensuring appropriate risk management and compliance.
  • Support resolution of employee concerns and participate in investigations and sensitive employee matters.
  • Improve and streamline Human Capital processes and ways of working.
  • Drive thoughtful use and adoption of artificial intelligence in Human Capital and the business.
  • Strengthen collaboration with Global Mobility and Compensation and clarify operating-model roles, responsibilities, and processes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of a high-performing, efficient, and impactful Human Capital function.
  • Provide oversight, coaching, and direct management support to Human Capital Coordinators and other shared Human Capital support colleagues.
Desired Qualifications
  • Consulting industry experience.
  • Familiarity with the actuarial, insurance, or reinsurance talent market.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable Human Resources certification.
