  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Three to five years of experience in a team leader capacity.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on production equipment used in softgel, liquid, and gummy manufacturing.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including motors, sensors, wiring, switches, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems such as conveyors, pumps, mixers, and filling machines.
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, compressors, and regulators.
  • Use programmable logic controllers to identify and resolve control-system issues and assist with basic programming and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings to support equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Support the installation, relocation, and modification of new or existing equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities accurately in computerized maintenance management systems such as Fiix.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase reliability, safety, and equipment performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior maintenance technicians.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying and managing critical spare-parts inventories.
  • Lead the scheduling and execution of instrumentation maintenance work orders to achieve site and maintenance objectives.
  • Cover production overtime on weekends before and after shifts when needed.
  • Coordinate the overall quality of the work team and apply quality standards.
  • Lead problem-solving within the team and across functional areas, including engaging the work team in discussions with Engineering and Maintenance about new equipment.
  • Review Fiix work orders.
  • Follow up daily to ensure work orders are closed according to the agreed process.
  • Assign work orders.
  • Complete the quote process and parts requisitions according to the agreed process.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Electrical Maintenance Technician Certification.
  • Programmable logic controller programming and troubleshooting certification or training.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician certification.
  • Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space Entry training.
  • Forklift and aerial lift certifications.
  • Welding certification under AWS D1.1.
