Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Active Nursing Licensure in the state of practice.
  • Two years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care clinic.
  • Five years progressive experience in the health care system or ambulatory care setting.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of clinical and business quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn how to use and navigate clinical IT systems.
Responsibilities
  • The Medical Group Nurse Manager reports to a Market or Service Line Nurse Director and participates with the Service Line or Market Leaders to ensure a successful execution of strategy and collaboration within operations and clinical care.
  • The manager builds and supports provider and employee engagement in promoting a culture of patient and employee safety, quality of patient care and customer experience.
  • Partners with Service Line or Market Leaders, Operations and Medical leaders to ensure system wide standards for care are defined, implemented, followed and tracked and that clinical care aligns with the vision and strategy of the Medical Group.
