  • 1+ years of experience establishing, administering, troubleshooting, and documenting connectivity of networks through the configuration and maintenance of networking hardware and software
  • Experience with the physical installation and maintenance of networking equipment as well as installation and updates of network device operating systems and baseline device configurations
  • Knowledge of basic and industry standard IP network topologies
  • Ability to document, edit, and maintain technical information for network systems documentation
  • Ability to travel to support work activities, such as installs
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
  • managing, monitoring, and enhancing local and wide area network systems
  • planning design, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites, and communications media with concentrators, bridges, and other network devices
  • help resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms
  • performance testing and documentation
  • administration of networks and configuration management
  • provide input on acquisitions and design layout, as requested
