Nurse Technician - Med/Surg Miner 7 - Full-time - Nights

This is a full-time night shift position (11:45PM-7:45AM) located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, weekends required.

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum one year experience as Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant in the healthcare setting

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program

• Nurse Technician/ Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate

• Current BLS from the American Heart Association

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance in a fair manner on a regular and recurring basis including dexterity of fingers, hands, arms and feet with sensory requirements of speech, touch, vision and hearing to normal range with correction.
