Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience with SATCOM Terminal and SATCOM Modem testing and evaluation, and Modem operation
  • 1+ years of experience with SATCOM, RF, and Modem waveform theory
  • Experience establishing test and evaluation criteria
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including Python, Bash, Kubernetes, or Java
  • Ability to use automated test software
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN networks
  • Ability to train PATS team members on T2 and PTES Joint Hub
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or Engineering and 2+ years of experience using test and evaluation equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, BER Test sets, Signal Generators, Frequency Counters, or Power Meters and Sensors, or 5+ years of experience using test and evaluation equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, BER Test sets, Signal Generators, Frequency Counters, or Power Meters and Sensors, in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
  • configure, operate, automate, test, and troubleshoot Test Terminal (T2) and Protected Tactical Enterprise Service (PTES) Joint Hub and related Protected Anti-Jam Tactical SATCOM (PATS) equipment
  • develop test plans and procedures in support of equipment evaluation
  • develop skills in integrating PATS components and equipment, and in SATCOM, RF, and Modem waveform theory
  • merge PATS enterprise and automation of testing and data processing using macros, scripts, and software tools to develop professional test reports
