Requirements

  • Define fact tables, dimension tables, measures, surrogate keys, slowly changing dimensions, and conformed dimensions

  • Design data marts and reporting layers for Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Separate operational workloads from analytical workloads using appropriate architecture patterns
  • Compare SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Recommend appropriate database technology based on data model, consistency, scalability, transaction requirements, query patterns, and reporting needs
  • Understand use cases for relational databases, document databases, key-value stores, columnar stores, and analytical stores
  • Explain trade-offs between ACID consistency, schema flexibility, performance, and scalability
  • CI/CD pipelines for DB deployments
  • Perform database provisioning, configuration, and upgrades
  • Using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Query Performance Insight

Endava cuts outlook as Q3 revenue falls to $226.7M amid client delays and Middle East disruption

Endava reported a challenging fiscal Q3, with revenue falling 8.4% to £178.5 million, as delayed client decisions, Middle East disruption and slower pipeline conversion weighed on demand. The company lowered its full-year guidance, citing particular weakness in banking and capital markets. Adjusted profit before tax dropped to £3.2 million from £24.6 million year-over-year, whilst adjusted earnings per share fell to £0.05. Free cash flow turned negative and borrowings rose to £195.8 million as share repurchases continued. Despite near-term challenges, Endava is accelerating its AI pivot, with AI-driven revenue reaching 15% of quarterly sales. The company deployed its Dava.Flow framework with 12 clients and announced partnerships with Mastercard, Google Cloud and NatWest's Tyl. Management expects Q4 revenue of £181 million to £185 million.

Tyl by NatWest taps Endava for Dava.Flow solution. The expanded collaboration between the two companies will also see Tyl by NatWest utilise Endava's engineering expertise and components from its Payments Gateway Accelerator. May 15, 2026 NatWest has expanded its partnership with London-listed business transformation group Endava, with the collaboration aiming to "accelerate the evolution" of the bank's merchant payments division, Tyl, according to a joint statement. Under this latest agreement, Tyl by NatWest will leverage Endava's AI-native Dava.Flow delivery model and components from its Payments Gateway Accelerator to increase the speed at which new products and services are brought to market. Endava specialises in building and updating software systems for banks, payment providers, and organisations across sectors including retail, automotive, and travel. Enhancements will focus specifically on payment acceptance capabilities for small and medium-sized businesses served by Tyl in the UK while also "unlocking new revenue opportunities", according to Tyl CEO James Hodgson. The number of merchants served by Tyl grew approximately 5% between 2024 and 2025, with the figure now standing at around 40,000, as stated in NatWest's annual report and accounts for last year.
