The Impact U will make:
- You will report directly to our Director of DevOps
- Be customer focused, have empathy for customer pain and point of view and come up with creative solutions to customer requests that can be productized and supported across a large number of customers and environments with ease and confidence
- Create a devops architecture strategy to support our technical strategy and next generation of products
- Drive the DevOps architecture; work closely with other technical leads in the engineering department
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations
- Identify opportunities for improvements in scalability, performance, security and serviceability
- Work with several engineering departments, Infrastructure, SRE, Core Platform, Developer Experience and our departments on the business side, Production Support, Solutions Architecture and multiple others
- Help drive the automation architecture that allows Unqork to increase to 1000+ clients across multiple cloud providers with ease and confidence
- Immerse yourself in our Unqork technological ecosystem, maintaining an understanding of the internal organization facing and the external customer-facing platforms
- Partner with our CISO and security teams to develop robust and highly secure architectural approaches for devops
What U bring:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise software design, architecture, and development
- 10+ years of experience in leading infrastructure and devops teams at SaaS companies
- Demonstrated record of customer empathy and finding creative solutions for customers that lead to productized offerings
- Experience working in a mission critical production service environment
- Significant hands on experience building Infrastructure as code
- Expertise analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and willingness to help the support and development teams diagnose and address production issues
- Strong understanding of availability objectives, capacity planning, performance analysis, security and instrumentation requirements
- Strong familiarity with systems monitoring and profiling tools
- Highly proficient in Amazon cloud infrastructure and services. Knowledge of Azure and GCP is a strong plus.
- Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, config management tools (Chef/Ansible/Puppet etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

The US base salary range, across all Unqork US locations, for this full-time position is $170,000 - $250,000 + equity + perks/benefits. An individual employee’s salary within the range provided above depends on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the working location, role, skillset and level of experience of such employee. Please note that the salary range reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity or perks/benefits.
