Requirements
  • Board Certified CRNA
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license/Certification
  • Ability to work in a PRN capacity at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood
  • Experience or competence in general anesthesia administration (implied by role)
Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services as part of a CRNA-only team at Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood
  • Cover case types including general surgery, orthopedic, Endoscopy/Colonoscopy, urology, ear, nose, and throat procedures (some pediatric), obstetrics and gynecology, and basic cardiology
  • Support prenatal OB care and obstetric anesthesia with approximately 400-500 OB deliveries per year
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during perioperative period; collaborate with surgical teams and other anesthesia personnel
  • Utilize regional anesthesia where appropriate (if proficient)
  • Manage malpractice and tail coverage provided by the employer
  • Collaborate with Corporate Clinical Leaders for practice standards and guidance
