This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site in Hillsboro, Oregon and off-site. In certain circumstances, the work model may change to accommodate business needs.

Requirements
  • Must be pursuing a PhD degree in a hard science discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science
  • Good understanding of semiconductor Device Physics
  • Have a proven track record of role modelling safety in the lab environment
  • Willing to work in a lab and clean room environment, with safety equipment such as glasses and gloves
  • Working in a collaborative research environment
  • Previous experience measuring devices on a cryo-prober
Responsibilities
  • Designing, fabricating, and analyzing novel devices/interconnects/patterning, materials, and integration schemes
  • Leading programs in electrical characterization and device physics
  • Scientific analysis, problem solving, effective communication, and collaboration within the team
