Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the commercial HVAC, construction or a related industry
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights

  • Proven ability to scale finance operations in high-growth environments, including ERP and financial software system implementation
  • Experienced in leading and expanding finance teams of 8+ direct reports
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial strategies to achieve company short-term and long-term goals and objectives
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Conduct financial planning and analysis, forecasting and budgeting to provide insights into the company’s financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the financial integration strategy and execution for the merger of two organizations, aligning accounting systems, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, while mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with estimators and project managers to align financial strategies with operational goals, while serving as a cross-functional people leader who fosters accountability, communication, and team development beyond the finance department.

  • Identify and assess financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk

  • Drive financial performance through performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance management processes.
  • Design and implement a scalable finance department structure.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard finance team members to build a high-performing team.
  • Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth and development
