Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years’ prior insurance experience preferred
- Multi-line carrier/TPA, risk management or brokerage claim handling experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Agent of Adjuster Licensing
- Well-organized, self-motivated, willingness to learn, attention to detail
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills
- Good verbal presentation skills
- Computer proficiency with system of records, web-based tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Property and Casualty License or willingness to obtain within 90 days required
Responsibilities
- Process claims notices in Agency Management System /Document Imaging System and maintain data for accuracy. (RMC, Image Right and/or Client RMIS Systems)
- Actively maintain diary and follow up on status of claims as needed.
- Create claim kits and request loss data as needed to address client/team questions and direct stewardship discussions.
- Provide value added services and consultative approach to claims management on behalf of clients and internal team members.
- Assisting clients with responses to Reservation of Rights and other coverage responses.
- Build strong carrier relationships with adjusters and other claims team members to form partnerships that supports both client needs and carrier objectives.
- Participate in the Sales Process with production teams as needed (Explain BI Claim Services & Capabilities)
- Identify, recommend and assist with implementation of risk/claims solutions for clients (WC, Auto, GL, D&O, EPL, etc)
- Facilitating TPA Analysis and Selection Process.
- Providing claims/risk training to client staff.
- Perform other specific claims related duties as assigned.
- Participation in Industry seminars
- Some travel as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in insurance preferred
- Experience in risk management or brokerage claim handling preferred
