We are seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic bar team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Mixologist, you will be the creative force behind our beverage program, crafting exceptional cocktails and delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced, upscale hospitality environment. • Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with precision, consistency, and creativity, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Develop and innovate new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink programs that reflect current trends while maintaining the establishment's signature style
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and making personalized beverage recommendations
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, beers, and other beverages, including their origins, flavor profiles, and optimal serving methods
• Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate ordering needs to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste
• Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining transparency in all financial interactions
• Maintain impeccable bar cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards at all times
• Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and positive guest experiences
• Adapt to the diverse preferences of our international clientele, demonstrating cultural awareness and inclusive service practices
• Train and mentor junior bar staff, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate team performance
• Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional bartending and mixology experience in upscale hotels, restaurants, or premium bar establishments
• Proven expertise in crafting classic and contemporary cocktails with strong knowledge of mixology techniques and flavor profiling
• Bartending certification or equivalent professional training; mixology certification is preferred
• Food and beverage safety certification or willingness to obtain one
• Advanced knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and other beverages, including their characteristics and applications
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to maintain consistency in drink preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environments while maintaining composure and quality standards
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing customer needs and business requirements
• Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments with a commitment to inclusive and empathetic service
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to stay current with industry trends, techniques, and beverage innovations
