Requirements
  • Significant experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or Hotel Operations, including leadership or management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to build and manage effective relationships across teams and departments.
  • Sound understanding of Front Office operations, revenue management principles, and guest service standards.
  • Experience using hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse operational reports and performance data.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Front Desk, Concierge, and Night teams to deliver seamless and personalised guest experiences.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction remains the highest priority by responding to feedback and resolving concerns professionally.
  • Recognise IHG One Rewards members, VIPs, and returning guests to enhance their stay experience.
  • Assist in driving guest satisfaction and departmental performance through coaching, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement.
  • Support roster preparation and day-to-day workforce planning in line with business demands.
  • Monitor room inventory, occupancy, and operational performance to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
  • Maintain Front Office policies, procedures, and brand standards across all shifts.
  • Assist with departmental reporting, forecasting, and operational administration.
  • Coach, develop, and support team members through training, feedback, and performance conversations.
  • Support onboarding and induction activities for new colleagues.
  • Complete ad-hoc duties as required to support the successful operation of the hotel.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly regarded.
  • Additional language skills are highly regarded.
