Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in project/program management within a manufacturing environment (engineering, quality, planning, etc.), along with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and financial acumen, with the ability to leverage organizational resources for project success.
  • Skilled in understanding customer needs, with a consultative approach to delivering results. Prior experience with customer interfacing is essential.
  • Exemplifies strong leadership qualities, with the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a results-driven, detail-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main liaison for key customer projects, coordinating with internal teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges. Drive seamless collaboration with customers from initial requirements gathering through final product acceptance.
  • Direct and manage processes for New Customer Introduction (NCI), New Product Introduction (NPI), and product transfers, focusing on timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish clear project goals, milestones, and objectives in collaboration with all functional teams and stakeholders, aligning resources to meet strategic priorities.
  • Clarify roles across the project team and coordinate with other departments, including engineering and operations, to streamline workflows.
  • Enhance team effectiveness by implementing optimized project management processes, tools, metrics, and reporting standards. Provide training and reference materials for consistent process execution.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and engage the escalation process to drive timely resolution, minimizing impact on project timelines and customer expectations.
  • Maintain consistent communication on project priorities, updates, and statuses with operations management, site leadership, and customers to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Oversee operational project reviews on a monthly basis and manage weekly team project reviews, ensuring progress aligns with established benchmarks.
  • Assist in forecasting for functional budgets and HR needs, aligning resources with current and future project demands.
