Requirements
  • BS degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
  • 5-7 years of MBSE and Systems Engineering experience across the Systems Engineering lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of systems engineering principles/processes, MBSE methodologies, and best practices such as Systems Engineering Technical Review process and Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Methodology.
  • Proven experience with MBSE tools such as Magic Draw, Cameo, Enterprise Architect.
  • Current OMG-Certified SysML Professional (OCSMP) SysML Model User and SysML Model Builder Fundamental credentials.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, Java, C++.
  • Experience with Agile Development methods and Digital Engineering capabilities.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • A current active Secret level clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive MBSE, systems engineering, and programmatic support to the production process simulation model technical development.
  • Lead the adoption and consistent application of MBSE methodologies and tools, managing the creation and governance of system models in partnership with LMI and government teams, conducting model-based and traditional Systems Engineering Technical Review events, and driving Digital Engineering initiatives.
  • Actively participate in Integrated Product Teams and other engineering working groups to review, assess, and mature engineering artifacts such as concept of operations, system architecture, system behavior, system interfaces, functional allocation, Interface Control Documents/Descriptions, and data models.

  • Familiarity with DoD Modular Open System Approach (MOSA).
  • Experience supporting large scale Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience with manufacturing production process studies and capacity improvement projects.
