  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism are required.
  • Intermediate computer skills and the ability to utilize internal software programs are required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Successful completion of required training within specified timeframes, including First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications and other training mandated by regulations, is required.
  • A valid driver's license and daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle are required.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals in enhancing and promoting the independence of supported individuals.
  • Work closely with the Behavioral Health Professional, who provides direction and support in developing and implementing individual assessments, individual support plans, and other associated plans of care, including behavioral support.
