Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • minimum of 10 plus years of professional software experience
  • strong working experience in OOPS concepts using technologies like Java, Spring core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software architecture, designing scalable systems, and optimizing performance in the domain of UI, middleware, database, security, and APIs.
  • Proficiency in engineering best practices, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and producing clean, testable code, and SOLID principles.
  • Understanding of HTTP, Internet protocols, web browsers and working experience using front-end frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, and React JS.
  • Experience in Core Java 11 - Multithreading, Exception handling, Garbage collection, Memory management.
  • Strong experience in J2EE related technologies (Java Beans, JSP, JDBC, JMS, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate etc)
  • Experience with any message broker technologies (Kafka, IBM MQ etc)
  • Experience in API styles like SOAP, REST, RPC, gRPC.
  • Experience working on databases (SQL and NO SQL) such as MS SQL, ORACLE, etc
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
  • Knowledge and working experience with DevOps implementation and automated CI/CD pipeline using Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, and other similar tools
  • experience in developing the re-usable components in both front-end and back-end technologies

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and co-ordinate work effort with other teams.
  • Work closely with business users, Development, QA and Infrastructure teams.
  • Designing highly available distributed systems by leveraging experience in Java programming and design; receiving and analyzing requirements and proposing a suitable solution that adheres to the team's methodology; delivering successfully within an Agile/waterfall environment and demonstrating the flexibility and adaptability to operate successfully in such an environment;
  • Communicating with all parties involved including senior management, developers, architects, and end users, who may be based in different locations and time zones; coordinating the work of a small team of developers, potentially in different locations and time zones;
  • Taking ownership of small to medium projects and running them from inception to completion; and applying skills in messaging frameworks, Linux/bash scripting, relational databases, and development and build tools.
