Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a technical discipline, or commensurate experience.
  • Eight years of experience in project management or a similar role.
  • At least three years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, including managing technical products for enterprise accounts and helping customers achieve business outcomes.
  • Ability to build and navigate relationships across complex organizations, internally and with customers.
  • Proficiency in building high-quality PowerPoint templates, analyzing data with spreadsheets and pivot tables, connecting to databases, and building queries.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Experience supporting user onboarding and access-provisioning workflows.
  • Excellent communication, customer-service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and maintain up-to-date knowledge articles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Own a portfolio of internal customers and build relationships across their organizations, from analysts and developers to directors and above.
  • Develop an understanding of portfolio customers’ strategic goals, team composition, decision-makers, and targeted business results.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support teams to realize, track, and report customer value created.
  • Collect insights to identify scalable use cases that drive platform adoption, maximize customer value, and inform internal delivery priorities.
  • Maintain account documentation, including success plans, stakeholder maps, risk flags, account pulses, and agreed next steps.
  • Create customer-success playbooks, customer-engagement templates, and team best practices.
  • Serve as the primary front door for Veterans Affairs Data Modernization customer support.
  • Provide access and provisioning support, including validating NDS privileges for fast-track users.
  • Assist users with cloud data environments, common tools, DevTest data access, and workspace functionality.
  • Coordinate with Databricks subject-matter experts and Summit Customer Enablement teams for support and post-provisioning engagement.
  • Identify blockers and inefficiencies in intake or support processes and escalate improvement opportunities.
  • Listen to user needs, resolve issues promptly, and provide clear customer support communication.
  • Help workgroups set up resources and migrate workloads.
  • Collaborate with on-premises teams to decommission resources after migrations are completed.
  • Manage competing priorities, research and respond to product-line operational data calls, and provide progress reports.
  • Manage parallel projects under a complex program while providing cross-functional program support.
  • Identify and prioritize customers’ top-reported and recurring issues, triage them to appropriate teams, and drive them to resolution.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting federal agencies, particularly Veterans Affairs.
  • Experience in a high-growth or early-stage company, preferably in data analytics and cloud computing, including creating an initial playbook and operating with minimal supervision.
  • Experience contributing to team infrastructure through playbooks, engagement templates, peer coaching, or process improvements.
  • Track record of driving urgent customer requests and multiple teams toward a common goal.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing basics, data and analytics, SQL, or Python.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including searching for resource groups across SDP and CNG Azure subscriptions.
  • Ability to support individual Azure resources, launch and support Databricks workspaces, and execute and test queries within those resources.
  • Ability to guide customers through Azure storage structures.
  • Experience processing and troubleshooting change requests, provisioning resources, removing unused resources, debugging and escalating resource errors, and triaging user access to Databricks or other resources.
