Requirements
  • B.S. candidate in Biochemistry or related major

Responsibilities
  • Support protein production team needs by expressing and purifying proteins, including Prime Editors among others.
  • Complex produced Prime Editor proteins with RNA components to build and characterize active complexes in both cell-free and cell-based contexts.
  • Support Protein Science’s RNP delivery efforts in cells by implementing established cell culture techniques; including routine passaging, plating, transfections, and downstream workflows.
  • Harvest genomic DNA and prepare libraries for next generation sequencing readouts
  • Interpret, analyze and present data to internal and small team settings
  • Keep up to date with documenting experiments in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN)
