Requirements
  • Bachelors degree
  • 2+ years of experience in digital communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated and self-reliant with a hands-on approach
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, and web design skills are a plus - we'll want to see your portfolio!
  • Familiarity with film editing software a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with MailChimp and Hootsuite
  • Based in either the Stamford, CT or New York, NY office
  • The Foundation currently operates in a hybrid-remote work model. Employees can work from home one day per week
  • Some travel required

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Communications Manager with communications plans, programs, and activities that support the Office of Inclusion & Community and the Foundation such as:
  • Create branded visual collateral for all digital, events, social, internal communications, and Foundation reports
  • Assist with managing mailing lists, distributing, and tracking engagement of internal and external communications using Mailchimp and Salesforce campaigns
  • Assist in the planning and production of Foundation events
  • Consistently update the social media presence of the Foundation on new and existing platforms with unique copy and content
  • Provide quarterly reporting and campaign effectiveness reports, identifying key analytics
  • Establish a content calendar that schedules all aspect of creation and delivery throughout the year, utilizing programs such as Sprout Social or Hootsuit
