The annual pay range for this position is $148,803.00 - $189,100/year

How You Will Contribute:

Duties: Troubleshoot customer and Internal reported issues in routing protocol and services; identify root cause, diagnose, debug document, and help developers in faster defect resolution. Continuously Improve test coverage, automation, validation, and documentation to deliver high quality, functionally excellent products. Work in an agile development environment and participate in sprint activities to plan and produce rapid cycle, high quality work, co-ordinate QA activities across scrums. RSP QA/PV team charter is to execute manual testing & automation of new features, validate deployment use-cases of major customers involving both Ciena and third-party devices. Develop end-to-end manual and automation test strategy to adapt to growing customer networks. Develop, execute, and automate solution test plans to validate customer use-cases and product capabilities. Automation of features and inclusion in Regression Suites executed by Automation Framework. QA solution team employs solution-based testing strategy where test cases are developed based on customer feature requirements.

Fully remote, telecommuting position.

The Must Haves:

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a software developer-related occupation.

Position requires 60 months of experience in the following:
• MPLS, LDP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, IPv6 and control plane technologies;
• Feature test planning and automation, test methodologies, risk aware testing techniques, defect workflows, test management workflows, tools, and metrics;
• Python programming and test automation; and
• Reviewing, providing comments and approving Functional specifications, Technical Requirements, Design test plans for high quality product and higher customer satisfaction.
