Senior Product Manager Foodservice

Summary:

In this role, you will drive the success of Vizient’s Food Solutions Program by acting as the primary connector between clients and suppliers. You will manage communication, align priorities, and ensure seamless collaboration across stakeholders. You will shape the product roadmap, translate user feedback into actionable solutions, and balance near-term initiatives with longer-term strategic improvements. You will partner with Marketing to launch campaigns, manage events, and maintain fresh and relevant program content. You will lead supplier huddles, develop engaging newsletters, and track performance metrics to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison for members and suppliers, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.

• Manage the Food Solutions product roadmap, balancing immediate opportunities with strategic initiatives.

• Conduct customer interviews and focus groups; convert feedback into prioritized backlogs and user stories.

• Partner with Marketing to plan events, launch promotional campaigns, and update program materials.

• Develop and distribute monthly newsletters with market insights, program updates, and member highlights.

• Facilitate quarterly supplier huddles, including agenda setting, content development, and action tracking.

• Represent Food Solutions on enterprise calls to share updates and align on supply assurance initiatives.

• Coordinate with Provista sales teams to provide training, product news, and program enablement materials.

• Define and track program success metrics, publishing dashboards and leading process retrospectives.

• Recommend enhancements that strengthen food category strategies and improve supplier partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

• Strong knowledge of the foodservice category and related market trends.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product or program roadmaps.

• Experience engaging directly with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure outcomes and drive improvements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.

• Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
