Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 6 months of related work experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • The ability to prioritize and complete multiple job assignments is required.
  • The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions is required.
  • Previous experience using laundry cleaning and stain-removal techniques is required.
  • The employee must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • The employee must be able to lift and push supplies, equipment, or laundry weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification is preferred.
  • The employee must be able to perform the stated sitting, standing, walking, desk-based computer, writing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing activities.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and process new uniform inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of uniform sizing and locker information.
  • Supervise athletic locker-room use by enforcing procedures and established rules, securing the locker room, and monitoring appropriate facility use.
  • Wash, dry, fold, sort, and prepare uniform sets, towels, and related items for student athletes and approved coaches.
  • Set up and break down fields, facilities, and equipment under the direction of an Athletic Administrator.
  • Open and secure facility areas for classes, meetings, practices, tours, and other activities.
  • Meet with users before special events to determine facility-usage requirements.
  • Pick up and deliver assigned athletic equipment to locations required for practices and games.
  • Receive coaches' equipment requests and retrieve items from storage.
  • Prepare equipment for safe use by cleaning it and ensuring it is in working order.
  • Assist with equipment inventory at the beginning and end of each season and prepare lists of missing items.
  • Sell or collect tickets at sporting events when needed.
  • Transport students to and from sporting events in company-issued vans or buses carrying fewer than 15 passengers.
  • Travel to various locations, including neighboring islands, to conduct business.
Desired Qualifications
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
