Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • DBI listed 29 U.S. offices in January 2026, showing broad national coverage.
  • The January 13, 2026 Minogue deal deepens technical advisory breadth for complex claims.
  • Cor Partners still markets DBI as a core insurance-services platform, signaling continued strategic support.

What critics are saying

  • DBI sells into insurance claims, where catastrophe cycles and dispute volumes swing revenue quickly.

  • A severe reputational hit in litigation testimony would damage referral pipelines and could cripple growth.

  • January 2026 Minogue acquisition broadened valuation, appraisal, and litigation testimony capabilities.
