Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business or public administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills
  • Four (4) years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work
  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven (7) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification
  • Experience in project management and correctional counselor case management
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and providing client normative feedback
  • Experience creating and implementing Behavior Change Plans
  • Experience facilitating client cognitive interventions
  • Strong understanding of Oregon corrections policies, administrative rules, and case management best practices
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including technical writing and policy documentation
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and directing the statewide implementation, quality assurance, and continuous quality improvement of Correctional Case Management (CCM) within ODOC’s 12 facilities
  • Ensuring staff engagement, proper application, and fidelity to CCM principles
  • Managing key projects to enhance operational efficiency
  • Working closely with the Operations Division and Community Corrections Division to develop, implement, and monitor case management processes for incarcerated individuals
  • Providing technical support for automated and non-automated applications
  • Measuring compliance with policies
  • Responding to requests from the public and the criminal justice system
  • Representing the agency at various forums
