Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator – Center of Excellence (COE) will be an ambassador of Safety, supporting the EHS-COE with development and deployment of regulatory required safety training and initiatives across Wine & Spirits Operations . The EHS Coordinator is responsible for assisting the EHS Supervisor coordinate and execute environmental health and safety programs, and projects in response to EHS concerns and trends, and ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory requirements. This position is remote eligible.
Responsibilities
- Foster and encourage total team commitment for Safety and Environmental considerations and provide feedback to the EHS COE team
- Contributing to efforts in maintaining compliance with regulations, facilitating safety meetings and training programs, managing cases and incident investigations, and preparing required legal and regulatory reports.
- Support delivery of EHS communications at Safety Committee meetings, review action plans and audits for completion and areas of improvement.
- Support the preparation of notices, postings, and reports as required by government and regulatory bodies .
- Create and update EHS training documents, presentations and manuals and tailoring training content to meet the specific needs of different departments and facilities within the organization
- Support EHS training deployment for new hires, existing employees and contractors
- Identify opportunities for improving training programs and processes
- Assist in the completion of regulatory reports for EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies
- Assist in tracking, reporting, and analyzing Safety & Environmental performance metrics
- Assist in the management and maintenance of facility EHS action registers
- Be proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, general math, oral communication, and general computer skills.
- Exercise good judgement, discretion, accuracy, organizational ability, initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/ GED and 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
- This position requires a strong knowledge of personal computer equipment (proficient in MS Excel spreadsheet development, MS Word word processing, MS PowerPoint presentation software and database applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical to this role. Reports prepared and documentation maintained by this role are submitted to and/or reviewed by regulatory agencies.
- The incumbent needs to be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal (or no) supervision. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks is essential.
- Good human relations skills are required, as are excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Tact and diplomacy is required in dealing with the other functions and divisions.
- Individual must be capable of organizing and prioritizing a highly varied work schedule, handling multiple projects simultaneously, be able to work effectively under pressure within limited time constraints, and be willing to work flexible hours, (i.e. some evening and weekend hours are occasionally necessary).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English-Spanish highly preferred
- Familiar with environmental and safety regulations

- Primary office environment may be tasting room/barrel room (For Hospitality Roles)

The salary range for this role is:
$28.19 - $40.56
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
