Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related disciplines is required
  • Master’s or advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years marketing-related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-starter and able to assume a high level of individual responsibility
  • Professional creativity and flexibility are essential
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Have extensive knowledge of one or more of the marine, offshore, engineering or quality sectors
  • Have general understanding and comprehension of business planning and execution
  • Demonstrated advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Proven time management skills which demonstrate ability to meet deadlines
  • Some travel may be necessary (less than 25%)
  • Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System
Responsibilities
  • Assists the Director of Strategic Marketing in the implementation of corporate strategic marketing and communications plans
  • Assists other corporate executives in the development and implementation of business plans and develops supporting marketing and communications plans
  • Develops and maintains close relationships with influential industry organizations and institutions in the Market Sector to position and create opportunity for ABS
  • Stays actively informed concerning significant business and technical activities within the Market Sector
  • Stays actively informed concerning competitor marketing and communications initiatives as related to the Market Sector
  • Ensures the Market Sector marketing and communications plans are organized and operated to carry out the approved business and marketing plans
  • Leads planning, development and execution of strategic marketing plans and tactics for Market Sector, including internal and external print and digital collateral, social and traditional media, and client and industry events
  • Strengthen the Company’s presence in line with corporate strategy related to Market Sector goals and objectives
  • Identifies innovative marketing opportunities within the industry
  • In coordination with Corporate Strategy and Development, understands market and economic conditions related to the Market Sector, including changes and trends that may affect marketing activities
  • Analyzes marketing efforts and campaign results for continuous improvement, reporting performance on all marketing and communications efforts including spend, conversion rates, pipeline contribution and ROI
  • Serves as the focal point for the for the global Marketing & Communications team related to Market Sector planning, design and execution of Market Sector activity
  • Develops and communicates project timelines to global Marketing & Communications team
