Overview

Job Summary

Creates and implement staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or
  evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development
  opportunities.
• Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops
  appropriate education plan.
• Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
  Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Nursing

• 2 - 5 Years’ Experience

• No Supervisor Experience

• Licenses/Certifications: Missouri RN License

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree – Nursing

• 5-10 Years’ Experience

• 2+ Years’ Education Experience

• Specialty Board Certification

• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support
