Logistics Operations Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:

• Do daily operation for trucking from cargo pick-up to delivery:

  • Order receiving

  • Cargo preparation at W/H

  • Make appointment with consignee/trucker

  • Prepare paper work

• Manage overall trucking business with staffs

• Monitor cargo pick-up/delivery & etc.

• Troubleshoot all happenings from booking to cargo delivery in a timely way

• Daily communication with customer/trucker (e-mail, phone)

• Make daily cargo delivery status & report it to customer

• Recommend changes in current processes when needed

• Reporting as needed:

  • Service failure report

  • Claim/damage report

  • Others

• Accuracy of data entry into Cello and other systems as needed

• Maintain SOP/Work Instructions and ensure operational best practice in line with customer requirements

• Ensure operational SOP compliance

• Maintain essential account documentation with up-to-date information:

  • Ensure it is collated and stored to be readily accessible

• Provide process engineering, analytical, and project management support to the logistics operation

• Provide leadership by implementing short-range plans and identifying goals and objectives to meet the plant’s mission and strategic plans

• Analyze routings of trucking and consider best options for customer

• Control truckers and evaluate their service level

• Follow any other orders from management

• Perform other job-related duties as required

Deliverables

• Timely completion of functional requests

• Work well as a team member with other employees, consultants, and contractors

• Provide regular reports and regular communication with designated project manager
