Who we are looking for
Technical Writer responsibilities will help support uplifting the reporting associated with our overall Regulatory Remediation program. This uplift includes, Regulatory Closure packages, Monthly SteerCo material, Quarterly Metrics, Outcomes Dashboard, Monthly Spotlights, Regulatory decks, and other ad-hoc Senior Mgmt. requests. This resource will also contribute to Program as a Project Manager, supporting and guiding program activities, and advancing the development and execution of program objectives. Resource will serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams and be responsible for understanding and translating complex technical concepts into language that is easily understood by stakeholders. The successful candidate will take initiative, exercise independent thinking, multi-task activities, set priorities, and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and be interested in working in a professional and team-oriented environment.
What you will be responsible for
Technical Writing:
- Work across Regulatory Governance leads and Execution workstream leads to uplift existing reporting and assist with communicating strategy and effective story-telling associated with Program.
- Ability to translate technical details to executive/regulatory reporting needs.
- Develop content to explain new technologies/processes, helping to implement solutions that improve how information is delivered to stakeholders.
- Develop process to maintain documentation hub (new releases, reviews, periodic refresh).
- Assist with all needed technical writing including business cases which include scope requirements, outcomes, benefits, metrics, training courses as needed.
Project Management:
- Leads the end-to-end planning and management of a small to medium cross technology team initiatives.
- Plans, organizes and controls the activities of cross-functional project teams
- Develops and maintains an end-to-end project plan (preferably in Jira), maintains project level RAID log, manages resource forecasts and cost plans.
- Provides updates on OKRs, project execution metrics and outcomes, including project ROI.
- Coordinates communication across the multiple project stakeholders with ability to translate from granular technical level to an executive consumable level.
- Identifies and uses best practices for project management
- Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitates a collaborative solution
- Coordinate across many teams with different responsibilities and goals to communicate, negotiate, and manage tasks
What we value

- Experience working with the Agile Software Development Methodology, Jira advanced roadmap or other Project/Program Management tools would be a significant plus.
- The ability to roll-up technical updates to senior and executive business management is critical.
- Experience and desire to interface with external clients is also important for the person assuming this role.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience working in IT within the Financial Services industry.
- Technical acumen including the ability to understand and articulate technical topics.
- Ability to take technical content and processes and develop it into consumable documentation and communications
- Strong PowerPoint and Presentation skill set.
- Strong Project Management skill set.
- Strong understanding of current technologies with past experience in a technical role.
- Outstanding communication skills with confidence to deliver difficult messages to senior and executive management when necessary.
- Proficiency with latest tools: Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word required
- Self-starter who can reach out to teams to understand details of projects, identify issues and propose and lead the implementation of solutions.
- Excellent collaboration skills including the ability to partner with key stakeholders and cross functional teams

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
