Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
  • A Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
  • Seven years of experience in accounting or a related function, or five years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the business to implement new processes and accounting flows and identify efficiencies through process elimination, automation, and external workforce support.
  • Prepare and present financial information to finance leaders, business partners, auditors, and regional accountants.
  • Support Sarbanes-Oxley controls and run processes according to risk assessment and control frameworks; escalate detected risks.
  • Support system implementations as a subject matter expert in Inventory and Supply Chain Accounting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Acquire to Retire processes to improve the quality of Assets and Inventory registers, reconciliations, and reporting for local audits and period-close reporting.
  • Perform month-end close activities for Assets and Inventory Supply Chain Accounting, including asset and inventory ledger close, balance sheet and profit-and-loss reporting, and flux analysis.
  • Lead an accounting process end to end.
  • Reconcile balance sheet and profit-and-loss accounts and provide supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.
  • Run effective and efficient Assets and Inventory Supply Chain Accounting processes and related month-end close reporting and reconciliation processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation is preferred.
  • Ability to propose next steps, resolve roadblocks, anticipate questions and challenges early, manage time, and follow work plans is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a focus on continuous improvement are preferred.
  • A collaborative working style and experience working with cross-functional and international teams are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and effective communication with executive management are preferred.
