Requirements
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and data analytics
  • Familiarity with lean principles, distribution models, and strategic planning
  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Healthcare, or Business (Master’s preferred)
  • Twelve (12) years’ experience in Supply Chain Management with at least five (5) years at the management level in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with Material Management Information Systems is required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cost reduction efforts across the organization
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with health system goals
  • Lead policy, procedure, capital planning, and performance oversight for supply chain operations
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to support strategic initiatives and patient care priorities
  • Manage and optimize a $15M annual expense budget
  • Analyze financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain services
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels and timely replenishment across departments
  • Manage supplier relationships and recall processes
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and develop supply chain staff across functional areas
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
  • Implement mentoring and training programs to build internal expertise
  • Ensure adherence to health system policies, accreditation standards, and safety regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of infection control, quality, and compliance protocols
  • Support product standardization and backorder management through Value Analysis collaboration
