- 5-10 year’s experience preferred with all risk control issues such as employee health, safety, fire protection and environmental protection, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment

- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Experience with medical procedures, protocols, processes, etc.
- OSHA Recordkeeping Requirements Knowledge and Safety Metric Calculations
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- ASP, CSP, CHMM, EMT, or equivalent professional credential preferred

- Assist the EHS Manager in leading all Environment Health and Safety processes to provide a safe workplace that protects and enhances the well-being of employees, guests, and outside contractors in order to comply with all governmental regulations
- Assures compliance with state and federal regulations in addition to company policies and procedures
- Consults, trains, directs, develops and implements safety programs and safety committees to promote overall health and safety and to meet OSHA regulations
- Investigates work related accidents and injuries and establishes appropriate behavior modifications to prevent reoccurrence
- Investigates potential safety hazards to eliminate risks of workplace injury and environmental hazards to mitigate the risk of pollution
- Provides education, policies, and procedures to minimize and eliminate work related accidents
- Works with EHS Manager and other personnel to ensure compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Environmental Quality
- Establishes and coordinates an effective security process to protect all associates, property and visitors
- Maintains all required OSHA, EPA, DEQ, and other compliance related reports and paperwork- such as OSHA logs, environmental permit reports, SDS information
- Creates, maintains, and monitors accident/incident/near miss/property damage statistics and reports to identify opportunity for improvement, risk areas/equipment and injury trends
- Actively assists with safety, environmental, fire prevention, and housekeeping audits/gemba walks
- Evaluates new equipment and processes and identifies areas of improvement by means of risk assessment methodology
- Coordinates the training of subcontractors by means of training, enforcing rules, auditing, tracking compliance, etc.
- Assists in monitoring air and noise levels to ensure compliance with regulations
- Works along with multiple departments to ensure all waste management paperwork and the subsequent reporting to government entities is handled properly and efficiently
- Work with EHS Manager and co-workers to ensure the local and corporate prevention programs expands to every employee

Horizon Industrial Parks strengthens partnership with BENTELER Automotive through manufacturing facility. The newly leased facility will support BENTELER's in-house production of tubes for torsion beams, a capability previously dependent entirely on imports. Horizon Industrial Parks announced the expansion of its collaboration with BENTELER Automotive India, with the global automotive components manufacturer leasing a new ~1.36 lakh sq. ft. manufacturing facility at Horizon Industrial Park Chakan II. This addition builds upon BENTELER's existing ~1.28 lakh sq. ft. facility, operational since October 2021, further solidifying Horizon's position as a trusted infrastructure partner for advanced manufacturing companies. The newly leased facility will support BENTELER's in-house production of tubes for torsion beams, a capability previously dependent entirely on imports. These tubes will then undergo further processing at BENTELER's current plant within the park to manufacture rear axle beams. The new operations will enhance localisation, reduce import reliance, and improve supply-chain agility for BENTELER.
