Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain lab equipment
  • Prepare solutions and conduct wet-chemistry bench experiments
  • Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques
  • Perform chemical analyses, optical measurements, and mechanical tests
  • Run and monitor experiments in high volume manufacturing
  • Support the development of new metrology systems and prove their capabilities
Desired Qualifications
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment
  • Mechanical design and fabrication experience
  • Hands on experience building complex mechanical systems
  • Laboratory experience in wet-chemistry and bench top experiments
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Organization and documentation skills
  • A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
  • Strong ability to follow detailed technical instructions and operating procedures
  • Experience troubleshooting experiments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work in laboratory and factory environment for extended periods
  • Able to lift to 30lbs
