Requirement : Structural Steel Design Engineer

Location: Jefferson, WI - Onsite

Full Time (Permanent)

The resume should be more focused on “Structural Steel Design Engineer”. Skills that are needed to be in the resume are.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Civil Engineering with focus on Structural design and analysis; and 5 to 8 years related experience and/or training; or 3 to 5 years of experience with MSc or PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,  technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Language abilities are required in the English language.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms,  quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word;
• Microsoft Excel; design software; internet software; order processing systems and MBS,
• ETABS, Tekla (design and detailing), Risa, SAP2000, StaadPro, and/or AutoCAD Drafting Programs.
• Ability to be a registered Professional Engineer when experience requirements are met  and must be able to pass the E.I.T. and P.E. exams with a timeframe appropriate for prior years of experience within the engineering field.
