Requirements
  • An industry veteran with 10+ years of experience directly supporting government proposal responses
  • 5 years experience writing highly technical content in the areas of DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, Network Engineering, and AI/ML
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with managers, technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and solution architects
  • Demonstrated expertise strategizing with executive leadership teams including Chief Offers
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office and ability to build and manage complex documents (references, styling, formatting, etc.)
  • Experience leveraging SharePoint as a documentation and collaboration repository
  • You are familiar with the standard Shipley proposal process-the pink-red-gold proposal flow
Responsibilities
  • Work on all sections of government solicitation responses, from resumes, to past performance, to technical and program management volumes.
  • Work closely with key personnel and subject matter experts to interview and extract proposal narratives and translate those narratives into plain language, proposal content
  • Analyze government solicitations and craft compelling narratives in response to government solicitations
  • Integrate win themes, value adds, and narrative themes within technical write ups to help the team go evolve from compliant to compelling
  • Edit and standardize content from other writers (i.e., ensure content has one voice, is consistent between volumes)
  • Partner with proposal contributors across the company to ensure key content deadlines are met and align to proposal schedules
