• Develop and optimize backend services, data models, and database queries for scale.
• Build infrastructure for efficient data collection, storage, and processing.
• Implement authentication, user management, and role-based access features.
• Integrate cloud services (AWS/Azure) and contribute to deployment pipelines.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and CI/CD automation.
• Provide technical input on system design and impact analysis for new projects.

• Strong backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and distributed systems at scale.
• Proficiency with both relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB, etc.) databases.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and container-based deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub flows, and continuous integration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with IoT solutions, device integration, or streaming sensor data.
• Prior exposure to infrastructure-as-code and DevOps tools (Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Splunk, New Relic, etc.).
• Experience with large-scale testing (load, stress, regression, integration) for cloud-based platforms.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $200,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
