- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; an associate's degree or vocational degree will also be considered.
- Experience as a consultant via a managed service provider or similar consulting organization is required.
- At least seven years of work experience supporting servers, storage, networking, and network security is required.
- Plan, organize, control, test, and review projects while aligning them with users' needs and required functionality.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks, systems administration, and escalations for team members.
- Provide remote and onsite support for clients' computing and networking infrastructures as needed.
- Identify problem areas and research possible solutions.
- Handle and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 escalation tickets, including firewall configuration, advanced network troubleshooting, and server management.
- Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary and continuously analyze vendors to ensure they provide appropriate service and value.
- Set up, secure, and maintain Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Interact with clients at staff and management levels to understand technology needs, find solutions, and support those needs.
- Plan projects and provide client support and development.
- Use tools to document systems and establish client technology architectures.
- Research and identify technology solutions for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configurations.
- Track computer system and network issues through resolution within an agreed timeframe.
- Prioritize and manage several open issues simultaneously.
- Prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and outside resources concerning technical issues.
- Develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Azure.
- General knowledge and experience with firewalls, routers, wireless networks, and security.
- Microsoft, ISC2, ISACA, or other cybersecurity and professional certifications.
- Prior experience working at a managed service provider is preferred.
- Familiarity with productivity applications and networking under Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Server operating systems, including Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts.
- Experience with WatchGuard, Fortinet, Sophos, and Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
- Familiarity with server virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V, Scale, and Citrix.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas in simple terms.
- ConnectWise experience is a plus.

Editorial Staff August 13, 2026 The latest executive moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management. Dynasty Financial Partners Dynasty Financial Partners has appointed sports and entertainment-focused executive and entrepreneur Greg Resh as an executive-in-residence. Dynasty created the EiR role in 2023 to provide content and coaching for chief executives in Dynasty's network of RIAs. Resh has more than two decades' experience in financial, strategic, and operational leadership across the sports, media, entertainment, hospitality, real estate, and technology sectors. He co-founded SIGR, a boutique sports and entertainment investment bank. Prior to SIGR's founding, Resh served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sagamore Ventures, and chief operating officer and CFO of the NFL's Washington Commanders, among others. He is the second sports and entertainment-focused EiR to join Dynasty's program this year, after Matt LaPorta.
