Mission Focus: This program will provide support to the Department of Defense’s Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO) Training & Evaluation Directorate. You will be on the ground floor of developing a testing program of record whose aim is to provide a comprehensive suite of integrated testing tools which can be deployed widely across the Department of Defense enterprise to address key T&E gaps. In particular, you will support the testing of AI system performance, cybersecurity, adversarial resilience, and explainability.
Clearance: Secret
Location/Flexibility: This work shall be performed onsite at the offices of the Chief Digital and AI Office in Falls Church, VA and Arlington, VA. Telework Eligibility will be determined by the COR on a case-by-case basis after TO award.
Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python, JavaScript, and other programming languages
- Work with front-end frameworks and back-end runtimes
- Follow Agile software development methodology
- Stay well versed in modern software architectures
- Comply with DoD policy as it pertains to risk-managed access to data, active collaboration in the industry/academic/government data and AI communities, and efficient acquisitions and procurement strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years in software development, specifically with full-stack engineering
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and at least one more programming language (Java is a plus)
- Experience with front end framework and backend runtimes
- Prior experience working with Agile software development methodology
- Proficient in modern software architectures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Defense sector
- Familiarity with DoD policy
- Java programming language experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times
