Road Runner Freight is a freight carrier specialized in less-than-truckload (LTL) shipping across the United States, focusing on long-haul metro-to-metro routes. It offers long-haul, regional, and next-day LTL services, moving freight directly between major metropolitan areas on a data-driven network that bypasses rail transport to improve reliability and cost efficiency. Customers can obtain quotes, track shipments, and manage shipping documents through an online portal that includes enhanced reporting for registered users. The company emphasizes on-time delivery and the safe, damage-free handling of cargo. Its goal is to provide dependable, cost-effective LTL shipping between key urban hubs, differentiating itself from competitors by its direct metro-to-metro network and data-driven routing rather than relying on intermodal rail connections.
