Are you passionate about research and excited about new technologies? We are looking for a conscientious and hardworking R&D technician to join our Research team. As a technician on our team, you’ll help support our groundbreaking experiments!

Shift 7: Thursday-Saturday 630am-630pm and every other Wednesday 630am-630pm.

Responsibilities:

In accordance with all safety policies and procedures, you will collaborate with scientists and engineers to support their experiments.

Process and test new materials for R&D experiments.

Build coin cells, pouch cells, and QuantumScape proprietary devices per SOPs or with scientists’ oversight.

Assist with general wet lab work and support solid-state materials processing experiments.

Document daily experiments and communicate completion status using MS Office applications.

Notice and give feedback for anomalies or unexpected results.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a high school diploma with at least 2 years experience in a lab R&D environment or a technical degree from a 2-4 year program.

Preferred:

Able to handle a dynamic research environment.

Ready to learn a range of lab skills.

Flexible and can collaborate on different projects with researchers.

Comfortable using software for task completion and logging data.

Physical Requirements:

Working in a glovebox and dry room.
