- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a degree in progress, is required.
- One to three years of accounting experience is required; automotive dealership experience is a plus.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and generally accepted accounting principles is required.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as PBS and QuickBooks is required.
- The candidate must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are required.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly financial statements and reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Track cash activity and assist with cash flow reporting.
- Help ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal policies.
- Support audits and documentation requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
